Right now there are still several large fires still burning throughout California and Property I.D. would like to take a moment to thank all those firefighters from all over California, and even those from out of state, for a job well done and for their sacrifice and service to all our communities.
Sadly, just a "Thank You" seems so inadequate. Just seeing a fire truck is comforting just knowing that you are close by to protect our homes and our families.
Last night my wife and I were out enjoying a late night snack of frozen yogurt and in pulled a fire truck fresh off the fire lines from the Station fire and the out-pouring of love and appreciation expressed by the 20 or so people in the shop was overwhelming. People stood up and clapped and waved and truly expressed their gratitude for the fire fighters efforts and for those still out on the fire lines.
When most of us get up and go to work each morning we never think about the possibility that we may never see our loved ones again, yet, everyday these brave hero's of the fire department do just that and risk so much to help those who need it.
That was the case for two fire fighters earlier this week when, Capt. Tedmund Hall and Specialist Arnaldo Quinones, were tragically killed Sunday when their truck fell 800 feet down a very steep mountainside while they were trying to find an escape route from the fast moving fire coming their way.
There will be a formal memorial service on Saturday, September 12th at Dodger Stadium starting at 10 a.m. to honor both Capt. Tedmund Hall and Specialist Arnaldo Quinones.
To the fire fighters that protect us tirelessly and without complaint while serving and protecting our communities, all of us at Property I.D. would like to thank all the fire fighters for your bravery and commitment to protecting us and our communities. Thank You So Much!
