California home sales are up 17.5% since June of 2007, according to the California Association of Realtors. Many home buyers are reading articles like this one we published in June and are looking for bargains because home prices have plummeted. Counties hit by foreclosures saw the most sales and that's not surprising since banks are trying their best to sell the homes at low, low prices.

To say that it's a buyer's market is an understatement. Buyers are out there, driving hard bargains and obtaining homes for a steal. If and when the market rebounds there will be some very lucky homeowners.
