There is a four bedroom house with lush, Berber carpets, vaulted ceilings, in a gated community with swimming pools and tennis courts in Southern Florida for sale that comes with the opportunity to wed the home seller. Divorced Florida real estate agent Deven Trabosh, was forced to rewrite her house listing on eBay to avoid their rules against putting human life up for sale. She listed the house at $350,000 with a whopping $500,000 fee for postage and handling... (hey, have you ever tried to ship a house?)... to cover her companionship.
The forty-two year old Trabosh had figured selling her home in the current market might be difficult and took the tact of selling the lifestyle, not just the house. The self styled "Europe-loving" princess is looking for her "Prince Charming who wants to share and create magical moments, imaginations and fantasies for life." And buy her house.
Incentives for buyers has been a long tradition in sales transactions from coupons and rebates to alleviate the cost to free gifts and presents to increase value for the money actually spent. Sometimes the incentive just does not work, and Trabosh's offer has yet to be taken.
