Shaquille O'Neal is a class act. The 7 foot living basketball legend has "dabbled" in real estate before. His O'Neal Group has planned developments and owns stakes in properties from New Jersey to Miami. Now he wants to help people dealing with the looming threat of foreclosure.
Shaq's plan is to buy delinquent mortgages and sell them back to homeowners at reasonable prices. "I want to come in, not to kick them out, but to work with them and save them so they can stay in their homes," O'Neal told the Orlando Sentinel.
With heroes like Shaquille on the job, maybe someday we can win the battle against widespread foreclosure.
