Another encouraging sign that the housing market is starting to stabilize is the fact that for first time in 10 months single-family home prices rose nationwide.
Twenty metropolitan areas showed gains of 0.2 percent in February which is the first time home prices have had gains since April of last year.
Obviously the housing market is not out of the woods yet since other areas around the nation showed declines, however, some economists feel that home sales will continue to increase which will help slow the rate of home value depreciation.
It's widely know that in order for the housing market to have any sustained recovery it will be dependant on job growth and as it stands it seems as though things are on the right track.
