The Labor Department reported today that the nation's employment statistics showed continued growth for the third straight month in February as employers added 227,000 new jobs, proving that the U.S.'s economic recovery continues at a modest pace.

As a result, the nations concerns over the housing market are beginning to subside since an improved job market is a key factor that will lead to more Americans feeling confident about the housing market and the direction of the economy is headed.

The reason this is so important is that people need jobs in order to buy homes. When America is working it gives them more confidence regarding their own personal financial situation and thus with the job market showing 3 straight months of sustained growth Americans are beginning to rethink their attitudes about jumping back in to the housing market. With near record low mortgage rates and low current home prices, now is a good time to both buy and sell.
